Miniature Salt-Glazed Stoneware Chamberpot, attributed to Wallace and Cornwall Kirkpatrick, Anna, IL, circa 1880, ovoid form with footed base, flattened rim, and applied handle, the interior heavily-filled with melted glass and an applied piece of clay excrement. Incised at shoulder with the cobalt-highlighted inscription, "Fine fence Corner Perfume." Provenance: From a long-term Illinois collection consigned to this auction. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 2 1/8" ; Diam. (at rim) 2 1/16".
