Double-Handled Stoneware Jug with Alkaline Glaze, Incised "B.B. CRAIG / VALE, NC" and Stamped "B B C," circa 1975, ovoid jug with two rounded handles applied at the shoulder and heavy tooling to shoulder and spout, the surface covered in a striated green alkaline glaze with profuse glass runs. Incised with B.B. Craig signature at shoulder and impressed with early-period "B B C" stamp on underside. Provenance: From a fifty-year SC collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 16".
