Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Pitcher, Stamped "I M MEAD & Co.," Portage County, OH origin, second quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with short collar and tooled rim, brush-decorated with cobalt highlights to the maker's mark and handle terminals. A 5 3/4" Y-shaped line from spout. A small in-the-firing ping above maker's mark. A minor nick to interior of rim. H 10".
