Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "HIGGINS & C / CLEVELAND, O," OH origin, circa 1840, highly-ovoid jug with semi-rounded spout, brush-decorated with a stylized, double-blossomed tulip plant, accented with spots. Spout chips. Restoration to handle. A tiny nick to underside at edge. Some staining to surface. H 14 1/2".
