Rustic Earthenware Mug, Marked "HAUSER BRENNER & FATH / COOPERAGE / CINCINNATI. O," American, circa 1890, large-sized, wheel-thrown mug with incised bark surface and twig handle, the exterior coated in a brownish glaze. Embossed with advertising for Hauser, Brenner, & Fath Cooperage Works, a business which opened in 1888, located at McLean Ave. and Bank St in Cincinnati, Ohio. A few minor rim chips. H 5 3/8".
