Unusual Aqua-Glazed Stoneware Figure of an Owl, attributed to Alfred Frail, Liverpool, OH, circa 1930, molded figure of an owl seated on a stump with removable match safe or ash tray, the surface covered in an opaque greenish glaze. Original circular hole in owl's head. Elaborate hand-incised details throughout. A reglued piece to corner of removable tray. A tiny nick to one of owl's ears. H 11 1/2".
