Scarce Copper-Glazed Stoneware Canning Jar, Stamped "JOHN BELL," Waynesboro, PA, circa 1840-1880, tapering jar with rounded shoulder and slightly-flared "wax sealer" rim, the surface covered in vibrant chartreuse glaze with iron flecks. Excellent condition with two long, thin in-the-firing contact marks to top of rim. H 7".
