Scarce Diminutive Redware Mold with Manganese Decoration, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, with scalloped edge and spiral pattern to interior, the surface decorated with sponged manganese under a clear lead glaze. Impressed diagonally on exterior with John Bell maker's mark. A 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" diagonal cross-shaped line from rim. Nicks to rim and tip of central tube. W 4 1/2" ; H 2 1/4".
