Glazed Redware Jug, New England origin, early 19th century, highly-ovoid jug with footed base and flared spout, the surface covered in heavy lead glaze creating a mottled green to brown ground with orange spotting. Handle with two chips and edge wear. Spout with a small chip and minor wear. Some surface flakes and minor surface abrasions near midsection. H 9".
