Small-Sized Tanware Flowerpot with Albany Slip Bird Decoration, Ft. Edward, NY origin, circa 1875, flaring pout with rounded rim and attached saucer, decorated on the front and reverse with a reddish-brown slip design of a crested bird perched on a stylized branch, applied to unglazed buff clay. A 3 1/2" loss to saucer. A 2 1/4" hairline from rim. H 5 1/8".
