One-Gallon Stoneware Cake Crock with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, probably PA origin, third quarter 19th century, cylindrical form with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and narrow lug handles, brush-decorated with an undulating vine on one side. Excellent condition with a small rim chip and minor in-the-firing rim nick. Diam. 8 7/8" ; H 4 5/8".
