One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to Stephen B. Sweeney, Henrico Co., VA, circa 1838-1868, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with looping, cloud-like floral motif. Very nice condition with some light surface wear. H 9".
