One-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Miles Mill Pottery, Edgefield District, SC, circa 1870, flaring jug with semi-flattened shoulder and flattened spout, the surface covered in a streaky brown alkaline glaze. Provenance: Richard and Cindy Pearce Collection. As-made condition with a wide, 2 3/4" firing crack in underside. H 8 3/4".
