Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "JAS. HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO . PA.," circa 1875, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring diagonal James Hamilton maker's stenciling accented with foliate devices. Staining to surface. A small glazed-over ping to proper right side. A minor chip to underside of rim. Small chips to shoulder molding. H 8".
