One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y," circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tooled shoulder, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a crested bird perched on a stylized branch. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Provenance: William Bouck Collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 11 1/2".
