Large-Sized Stoneware Devil Face Jug, Signed "Brown's / Pottery / Arden, N.C. / Handmade / C-5-89," 1989, cylindrical jug with hand-modeled and applied clay devil face featuring large incised goatee, and open mouth with protruding tongue and china teeth. Surface covered in a reddish-brown glaze with runs to front of face. Underside with incised Brown's Pottery / Robert Brown signature. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 18 5/8".
