Scarce Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "L. MARSILLIOT", Euclid, OH origin, circa 1830, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed tulip plant motif below the large impressed maker's mark, "L. MARSILLIOT". Shoulder with large cobalt-script 2. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Water glass residue to interior and exterior. A very faint Y-shaped line to underside. A minor 1" line above one handle. Small rim chips.
