Two Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jugs, NC origin, late 19th and 20th centuries, the larger impressed twice at shoulder, "W.T. MACON," Randolph County, NC, late 19th or early 20th century, the smaller incised "Morris Brown" on underside, late 20th century. Larger with loss to spout and spout chips, two in-the-firing surface chips (contact marks) to midsection, and staining to surface. Smaller in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of smaller) 5 3/4".
