Fine Early-Period Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Face Jug, Signed "Lanier Meaders," Cleveland, GA origin, circa early 1970s, ovoid jug with short spout, decorated with a hand-modeled and applied clay face featuring orb-shaped eyes with black pupils, broad nose with carved nostrils, well-formed ears with depressed centers, and mouth with flattened lips.
