Glazed Redware Figure of a Dog on Base, PA origin, second half 19th century, hand-modeled figure of a dog with bulging eyes, lop ears, and lion-like tail, seated on a slab base. Heavily-incised details throughout. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze over an olive ground. Two small base chips and a minor chip to nose. L 5" ; H 4 1/8".
