Rare Small-Sized Stoneware Jug with Coggled Signature, Paul Cushman, Albany, NY, 1811, ovoid jug with footed base and semi-squared spout, featuring the coggled signature, "PAUL.CUSHMAN.s.STONEWARE.FACTORY.1811." Surface covered in a salt glaze with Albany slip interior, including appealing glaze runs from spout on right side of jug. Provenance: Crocker Farm, Inc., October 26, 2019, lot 215; Warren F. Hartmann Collection. Exceptional size. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 7 1/4".
