One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT / SUCCESSOR TO / JAS. HAMILTON & CO. / GREENSBORO. PA," circa 1880, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring desirable T.F. Reppert "SUCCESSOR TO" stenciling along with stenciled floral and geometric designs. Provenance: From a fifty-year West Virginia collection. Very nice condition with some light wear to cobalt, a lean to rim, and some minor wear and minor staining to reverse. H 10".
