One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird Decoration, Stamped "WEST TROY / N.Y. / POTTERY," circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, decorated with a large design of a crested bird perched on a stylized branch. Staining and some in-the-firing mottling/roughness to bottom half of jug. A miniscule nick to spout. H 11 5/8".
