Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stenciled "A.P. DONAGHHO / Parkersburg, W.V.," circa 1880, semi-ovoid jar with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with A.P. Donaghho maker's stenciling between stenciled bands of S-curves and spots. Stenciled "4" below, flanked by stenciled floral devices. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some very minor surface wear. H 14 1/8".
