Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Churn, Stenciled "A.P. DONAGHHO / Parkersburg, W.Va," circa 1880, semi-ovoid churn with tooled shoulder, flared collar, and applied lug handles, featuring large A.P. Donaghho maker's stenciling above a stenciled "4" flanked by flourishes. Smooth surface wear to shoulder on front and rim. Minor roughness to molding at base of collar. A minor chip to interior of rim and flange on inner rim for lid. A light-colored glaze drip to one side. H 16 3/8".
