Salt-Glazed Stoneware Rundlet, Northeastern U.S. origin, late 18th or early 19th century, barrel-shaped form with heavily-tooled banding, applied spout at midsection, and recessed top and underside, the surface covered in a clear salt glaze. Reverse side flattened for resting the vessel horizontally. Possible reddish-brown iron-oxide decoration to front. Excellent condition with some staining. H 6 1/2".
