Three-Gallon Stoneware Advertising Churn, Stenciled "E.B. TAYLOR / Richmond, Va.," attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1875, semi-ovoid churn with flared collar and extruded lug handles, featuring E.B. Taylor merchant stenciling, a stenciled "3" flanked by draped stenciling, and a band of geometric stenciling, all applied diagonally. A chip to one handle and small chip to opposite handle. Wear to inner rim for lid. Typical wear to interior base from use. H 15".
