Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Parrot Decoration, Stamped "F.B. NORTON & CO / WORCESTER, MASS.," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a bold design of a crested parrot perched on a leaf. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Excellent condition with some minor staining and a 2" hairline from rim on interior which is shorter on the exterior. H 10 3/8".
