Four-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON, VT," circa 1870, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, semi-rounded rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a triple-blossomed floral motif accented with spots. Cobalt accents to maker's mark and capacity mark. Excellent condition. A minor chip to interior of rim. A 1 1/2" surface line at base, not visible on interior. H 11 1/8".
