Glazed Redware Vase with Incised Bird Decoration, attributed to Jacob Medinger, Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA, first quarter 20th century, ovoid vase with footed base, flared collar, and ribbed strap handles, featuring four rows of coggled decoration and an incised design of a bird perched on a leafy stem. Reverse decorated with an incised stem. Surface decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Provenance: Ex-Sidney Gecker. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 6 1/8".
