Extremely Rare Glazed Redware Food Mold, Stamped "Fr. Schramm / Potter / West Penn," Schuykill County, PA, circa 1860-1880, circular form rounded sides and scalloped interior, the interior decorated with manganese sponging over a yellowish-green ground and covered in a clear lead glaze. Impressed with inverted "Fr. Schramm / Potter / West Penn" maker's mark below rim. The first piece of pottery bearing this stamp that we have offered. A 1 3/4" hairline from rim. Minor wear to central tube. H 3" ; Diam. 6 3/4".
