Unusual Stoneware Bottle, Stamped "J STOECKERT / NEW ULM," New Ulm, MN origin, circa 1870, wheel-thrown bottle with tapered spout molding, impressed with the cobalt-highlighted maker's mark of John Stoeckert at the shoulder, the surface covered in a light salt glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with some in-the-firing mottling to clay. H 10".
