Two-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Edgefield District, SC, probably B.F. Landrum Pottery, Horse Creek Valley, circa 1850, rotund jug with tooled spout, the surface covered in a light-green alkaline glaze. Two incised slash marks to shoulder. A large chip to side of spout. Other shallow chipping to spout. An old piece of metal on interior. Some small glaze flakes to surface. A streak of old gray paint to surface. H 14 1/2".
