Two Ovoid Stoneware Jugs, Northeastern U.S. origin, first half 19th century, both with cobalt highlights, a highly-ovoid jug, stamped "NORTON & FENTON / BENNINGTON Vt," circa 1845, paired with an ovoid jug, stamped "GOODWIN & WEBSTER," Hartford, CT origin, circa 1825. Shorter with staining/mottling to surface. Taller with V-shaped crack on underside, continuing onto base area in two places, two thin cracks in base of handle, a 1 1/4" base chip on front, a small base chip on reverse, a small chip to bottom edge of spout, and some staining. H (of shorter) 10 3/4".
