Two One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Crocks, Ft. Edward, NY origin, circa 1875, a cake crock with slip-trailed floral decoration, stamped "NEW YORK / STONEWARE CO.," paired with a taller crock with slip-trailed foliate decoration featuring a looping line, stamped "OTTMAN BRO'S. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y." Both in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Cake crock with an in-the-firing contact mark to rim on reverse. H (of taller) 7 1/4".
