Glazed Redware Figure of a Dog, PA origin, circa 1850-1880, hand-modeled figure of a dog with impressed eyes, collar, and floral-decorated locket and incised details to muzzle and feet, seated on a rectangular base with canted corners. Lead-and-manganese-glazed surface. Head and neck broken off in a single piece and reglued, with some coloring along crack. Restored tail and ears. A tiny chip to one foot. Minor base chips. H 3 7/8" ; L 3 1/4".
