Glazed Redware Trivet with Eagle Motif, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'," PA origin, circa 1850-1880, circular form raised on three molded feet, decorated with a relief design of an eagle surrounded by four urns brimming with flowers and grapes. Surface decorated with sponged manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Chips and wear to outer edges. Wear to top. Diam. 7 1/4".
