Two Multi-Glazed Redware Mugs, attributed to J. Eberly & Co. or S. Bell & Sons, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, both of barrel form, decorated with cream-colored slip and splashes of copper and manganese under a clear lead glaze. Shorter with heavy glaze wear to rim and handle, a thin 2" crack from rim, and some surface wear to midsection. Taller with significant glaze loss to body, glaze wear to rim, a 2 1/4" crack from rim, and light wear to handle. H (of shorter) 3 7/8".
