One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, possibly WV origin, mid 19th century, squat-shaped, ovoid pitcher, brush-decorated with a large double-stemmed tulip plant ascending the front. Double-stemmed tulip decoration to sides of collar. Poorly-colored partial restoration to tip of spout. Additional paint to front and interior of spout indicate possible surface touch-up there. H 9".
