Very Rare Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "G.R.F. WEIMER & BRO. / SNYDERTOWN. PA.," circa 1868-1872, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, and flared "wax sealer" rim, brush-decorated with a tulip below the cobalt-highlighted maker's mark. A large, tight X-shaped line extending from base to midsection on reverse. Traces of old red paint to top of rim. H 10 1/4".
