Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Butter Crock, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / GREENSBORO. / PA.," circa 1880, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring T.F. Reppert maker's stenciling including a central stenciled floral motif and flourishes. A 5 3/4" crack from rim through right edge of stencil. A 3" hairline from rim on right side of crock. Some crazing to rim on reverse. An incised "X" on underside. Dimensions: 7 3/4" ; H 7".
