Rare Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Man's Bust, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1830, highly-ovoid jug with tooled spout, decorated with a folky brushed design of a man's bust with buttoned coat and rectangular hat, flanked by two cobalt 3's. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 15".
