Multi-Glazed Redware Flowerpot, attributed to S. Bell & Sons and J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, flaring form with attached saucer and coggled rims, the surface dipped in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashed manganese and copper, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Excellent color. Provenance: From an eighty-plus year private collection. Very nice condition. A 2" hairline from rim. A few small flakes to rim. Small chips to saucer. H 8".
