Copper-Decorated Redware Flowerpot, Stamped "S. BELL & SON. / STRASBURG," VA origin, circa 1890, ovoid flowerpot with rounded rim and attached saucer, the surface covered in whitish slip and decorated with lead-and-copper swags around the shoulder. A 3 1/4" flake to top of saucer. A few other minor chips to rim of saucer. Some losses to slip on rim and body. Other light surface wear. H 7 3/4".
