Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WHITES' BINGHAMTON," NY State origin, circa 1848-1888, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, decorated with a large slip-trailed stem bearing fan-shaped blossoms and leaves accented with spots. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. A 3 3/4" vertical in-the-firing line at base. A 1 1/2" in-the-firing chip to underside at edge. H 16".
