Two-Gallon Frogskin-Glazed Stoneware Churn, AL origin, circa 1875, ovoid form with tooled shoulder, flared rim, and vertical open handle, the surface covered in a salt-over-Albany-slip glaze creating a mottled olive "frogskin" coloration. A salt drip to rim and two salt drips to shoulder area. Excellent condition with a tiny base chip and a minor rim chip. H 14 1/2".
