Three-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, AL origin, second half 19th century, cylindrical jug with tooled spout and ribbed strap handle, the surface covered in a runny olive-green alkaline glaze. Incised "3" at shoulder. A 5/8" piece of adhered clay on reverse, a brown drip to shoulder, a spout chip, and a minuscule spout nick. H 17 1/4".
