Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "W. ROBERTS. BINGHAMTON NY," circa 1870, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder, applied lug handles, and semi-squared rim, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a double-stemmed flowering plant. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Some bubbling to cobalt, staining, and a 2 1/4" line to side of jar. H 12 1/2".
