Scarce Large-Sized Flint Enamel Foot Bath, Stamped "Lyman, Fenton & Co. / Fenton's / ENAMEL, / PATENTED / 1849 / BENNINGTON, VT," circa 1849-1852, oval, molded form with footed base and open handles featuring sponged brown decoration interspersed with streaks of blue and orange. Underside with maker's mark. A 6" crack from rim with tiny sliver at rim. Two lines to underside. Residue to interior base. Dimensions: L (at rim) 17" ; H 8 1/2".
