Three Pieces of Stoneware, primarily West Virginia origin, second half 19th century, a five-gallon ovoid jar, stamped "N. CLARK, / PARKERSBURG, VA.," circa 1850; a four-gallon jar with brushed stripe decoration, WV or Western PA origin, circa 1880; and a canning jar with "wax sealer" rim, stenciled "A.P. DONAGHHO / Parkersburg, W.Va." Clark jar with all-over painted restoration. Four-gallon jar with large filled area to base and a matte glaze drip to front, in otherwise excellent condition. Donaghho jar in excellent condition with two tiny nicks to interior of rim and in-the-firing contact marks to top of rim. H (of Clark jar) 15 3/4".
